A friendship knows no distance...
When you combine someone who excels at their own craft with a photographer hungry for bold ideas, magic tends to happen. That’s exactly how things started with Meg. She had built this incredible, polyhedral unicorn headpiece — a surreal, striking piece of wearable art — and I knew immediately that I had to shoot her in it. But that was only the beginning.
From there, the ideas kept flowing. Meg introduced me to a floral designer whose vision happened to align perfectly with a shoot I’d been dreaming up but didn’t know how to bring to life. When I put out the call for a Maleficent look for a Cinderella-themed concept, Meg didn’t just show up — she showed up in full regalia, horns and staff in hand, ready to embody the role. Time and time again, when I’ve needed something outrageous, high-concept, or delightfully theatrical, Meg has been the one to make it happen.
Even while we were living in Austin, she’d make the drive to keep the collaboration going. Now that we’re back in Houston, I have no doubt we’ll pick up where we left off — creating bold, story-driven images that tap into her artistry, her costume design, and her undeniable presence as a model.
